A cooperative education experience is a valuable tool for insurance majors. The coop experience gives students an opportunity to apply classroom theory and work experience activities in a workplace setting under the supervision of a site supervisor. The Insurance Study Program encourages students to consider applying insurance and/or free electives hours toward a coop experience. Work opportunities are widely available for insurance majors each semester and during summer school.
